Residential training

Jason takes a small number of dogs in for training. Residential training might be long or short term: maybe you lack the time to train your dog yourself, and would like Jason to train it for you, or perhaps you would like Jason to do some top-up training while you are away on holiday or business. Each client has different needs. Contact Jason to discuss individual requirements.

Gundog training can be an ideal way to keep your dog fit and mentally stimulated, doing what he was bred to do. You may recognise this little fellow, known as Cooper to his many friends. Cooper the cocker spaniel has made several television appearances with his celebrity chef owner James Martin. James and his much loved dog have been mixing residential training with one to one sessions with Jason over the last two years to improve obedience and develop Cooper’s natural ability.

Berryshot Bernie

Berryshot Bernie, known fondly as Bertie, is a client’s dog who is now coming into his prime. Jason has taken this dog for residential training since he was a 6 month old pup. In his three years Bertie has won many awards. In 2018, he came second at the UGS All Aged Trial, qualifying for the finals alongside FT Ch Kestrelway Drake. At the finals, Jason handled Bertie to win the trial with a 300 yard retrieve across a valley. Bertie has automatically qualified for next season’s final as defending champion.
